An ICF PCC since 2014, Cindy Chen is a seasoned, passionate and well-respected executive coach and leadership consultant serving MNCs and Chinese companies. In the course of 6 years, she has built more than 1,700 coaching hours and delivered over 120 group/team sessions, which made her one of the most experienced executive coaches in China.
Cindy has provided projects of coaching, training, mentoring and blended learning programs for thousands of leaders of many countries such as China, USA, Japan, South Korea, India, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Her clients include executives, directors, senior managers and high potentials. Her coaching style, according to her clients, is featured with affinity, calmness, clarity and energy.
Cindy’s partial client list includes leading MNCs operating in China such as Ford, Cartier, Richemont, Samsung, Philips, Flextronics, Panasonic, Fairchild, Hitachi, Honeywell, Toyota, BOSCH, ZF, Continental, Benteler, J&J, Roche, Air Products, Danisco, Tetra Pak, William Sherwin, Fast Retailing/Uniklo, eBay, Grundfos and NU SKIN.
Prior to coaching, Cindy had a long corporate career with MNCs. Her most recent position was HR head of Greater China Supply Chain Organization in Tetra Pak, one of the biggest privately-held companies headquartered in Sweden. In that capacity, she oversaw more than 1,000 employees with 5 factories in China and was a key contributor to Top Three Overall Performance Award for Tetra Pak China. Before Tetra Pak, she worked as Training & Communication Manager with KONE Elevator for 5 years based in Shanghai and Kunshan.
Cindy got her M.S. in Applied Psychology from East China Normal University and studied coaching with various international organizations. She is a certified Master Trainer of “Being Conflict Competent”, certified trainer of “Crucial Conversation”, “DDI Talent Selection and Development”, “Persona Global Series of Courses” and one of the first certified Chinese facilitators of “THOC-The Heart of Coaching.”
Cindy is based in Shanghai and Vancouver and speaks native Chinese and fluent English.
